This is for you if any of the following resonates:
Â
Â
❌ You feel out of control around food, and then full of guilt after eating
❌ You tell yourself: "I'll do better after Monday."
❌ You’re exhausted from trying to use willpower, and it’s just not working
❌ You feel disconnected from your body and stuck in shame
❌ You want a healthy relationship with food, but you don't know how
❌ You’re tired of diets, rules, and pressure, but you don't know what else could work
Â
Â
 Â
Here is what we will explore:
✅ Why emotional and binge eating aren’t about willpower, and the real root cause most people never learn to look for.
✅ What’s really happening when you feel out of control with food, and how to meet those moments with compassion, not shame.
✅ The exact next step to begin your healing journey, without crash diets, restriction, or forcing yourself to “just try harder.”

My name is Nadine Jans
Â
I’m  a registered clinical counsellor in Vancouver (BCACC #13117), psychologist in the Netherlands (NIP #133644), and a coach specializing in disordered eating, body image, and emotional well-being.
With 20 years of experience in the field, I bring together evidence-based methods, deep personal understanding, and heartfelt care.
My passion for this work is rooted in my own story...
I know what it’s like to live with depression, anxiety, shame, guilt, anger, and the exhausting cycle of binge eating. For years, I felt stuck in patterns I couldn’t think my way out of.
And yet, I found a way through!
By integrating powerful tools from neuroscience, psychology, somatic healing, and brain-based therapies, I was able to shift out of survival mode and into a life of greater ease, self-compassion, and freedom. This is what I now help others do.
I’m a certified Brainspotting therapist, eating disorder and body image specialist, and dementia care consultant. My work blends the latest neurobiology research with embodied practices that support deep and lasting change, not just surface-level fixes.
Whether you're struggling with food, your body, or emotional overwhelm, I intend to offer you a safe, effective, and compassionate space for healing. I hope that you can feel more at home in your body and more empowered in your life.
